ACPHS Panthers and SMCC Seawolves to face off in USCAA Women's DII Soccer National Championship.

VIRGINIA BEACH, Virginia (YSCC) – Two Yankee Small College Conference (YSCC) women's soccer teams will face each other Monday, November 14, 12:30 p.m. to decide who will be the United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA) Women's DII Soccer National Champion. 

Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences Panthers kicked their way to the USCAA Championship with a 5-3 win over Penn State University - Mont Alto. YSCC All-Conference Team member Julie Roemer scored all five goals for the Panthers in the win. The five goals give Roemer YSCC-leading 28 goals and 59 points on the season. 

The Southern Maine Community College Seawolves (SMCC) punched their ticket to the championship with a 2-0 shutout of fellow YSCC member NHTI. The Seawolves beat the Lynx in the Pool A Final Sunday with goals from Desiree Veilleux and Chanelle McDonough to secure their chance at a title.
