NHTI wins 3rd consecutive YSCC volleyball title
CONCORD, N.H. – The NHTI volleyball team won their third consecutive Yankee Small Conference Championship, 3-0 over the top seed Unity Rams Saturday afternoon. The Lynx did not lose a set going 6-0 on the day.
The semifinal matches saw NHTI top the University of Maine-Machias and Unity blank the Paul Smith's College, 3-0.
Lynx sophomore Mallory Caronis (Hudson, N.H.) earned Player of the Tournament while senior teammate Molly Emerson (Concord, N.H.) was named Defensive Player of the Tournament and Unity senior Jacklyn Collins (Rifle, Colo.) was named Offensive Player of the Tournament.
NHTI earns an automatic bid to the United States Colligate Athletic Association's national tournament November 10 in Virginia Beach, Va
