Week 3 YSCC Players of the Week

(YSCC) - Yankee Small College Conference is proud to announce this week's Softball and Baseball Players of the Week. Here are this week's winners.

SOFTBALL

Avery Herrick | Central Maine CC | FY | P

Avery had a great week with wins over Northern Vermont Johnson and Bay Path. In 12 innings, Avery struck out 22 batters and gave up just four hits and one earned run with a .58 ERA.

BASEBALL

Justin Colon | Southern Maine CC | FY | IF

First-year Justin Colon helped the Southern Maine CC SeaWolves to a 2-2 weekend against NJCAA competition collecting six hits in 16 at-bats (.375). Colon recorded a homer, three extra-base hits, and swiped six bases from the lead-off position.
