YSCC Baseball and Softball Week 3 Players of the Week announced!

YSCC Week 3 Baseball/Softball Players of the Week (April 14-20, 2025)

Baseball - Zach Oliver (SMCC): Zach made program history this week, throwing the first recorded perfect game in SMCC baseball history in a 10-0 win over the University of Maine at Augusta. Oliver faced 18 batters over 6.0 innings, allowing no hits, no walks, and striking out two in a flawless outing. His efficiency and command were on full display as he induced a steady mix of groundouts and flyouts to complete the perfect game. He also helped himself at the plate throughout the week, batting .267 with 4 RBIs, a .350 OBP, and perfect fielding in five total games.

Emma Broadstone (NHTI): Emma went 3-4 at the plate. Her two slap bunts and speed helped the Lynx Score 7 runs on the day. Defensively, she also played an outstanding centerfield.
