WOMEN'S BASKETBALL DOMINATE BADGERS
Randolph Center, VT: For the second time in a week the Vermont State Randolph women's basketball team defeated their sister campus, VTSU- Johnson Badgers. After a close first quarter, the Lady Knights used a 35-17 over the next couple of quarters to give the them a 51-29 lead going into the 4th. VTSU Johnson made the 4th quarter close, but the Randolph held on for a convincing 60-37 win. The Lady Knights improve to 4-2 on the season.
BEHIND THE NUMBERS
First year player Marielle Benoit had a dominant performance recording a double-double with 25 points and 11 rebs.
Yvonne Roberge affected the game like only she can recording her 3rd triple double of the season. 12 points, 12 assist and 10 rebs.
Jasmine Mooney also hit double figures with 11 points.
VTSU Johnson's Rianna Forton led the Badgers with 15 points, added 6 rebounds, 2 assist, and 2 steals.
What's Next
VTSU- Randolph women's basketball team will travel to Maine on December 6 for a double header against UMaine Augusta and Central Maine.
