From the opening tip-off, the Moose established their intent to control the game. The team demonstrated a balanced attack, with standout performances from several players. Alisyn Alley was a force, leading all scorers with 22 points on an efficient 10-of-22 shooting. Her ability to create shots and finish at the rim was crucial in building a substantial lead. Sage Fortin contributed significantly as well, adding 20 points and hitting three 3-pointers, while also leading the team with four assists.

(AUBURN, ME) In an exciting matchup on December 8, 2024, The UMA Moose women's basketball team showcased their prowess on the court, defeating Paul Smith's College with a commanding score of 73-52 at Kirk Hall in Auburn, ME. The game featured strong performances from both teams, but UMA's efficient scoring and relentless defense ultimately secured their victory.
UMA's Sage Fortin was the standout player of the game, delivering an impressive performance with 24 points, including five 3-pointers. Fortin's ability to find the open shot and finish strong at the basket was instrumental in establishing an early lead. Bella Petrocci also shined off the bench, contributing 29 points on 7-of-12 shooting from the field, showcasing her shooting precision with a perfect 7-of-12 from beyond the arc.
