Huskies Lose on the Road to Seawolves

South Portland, ME—On Sunday afternoon, the Huskies traveled to take on the Seawolves from Southern Maine Community College. The Huskies were hoping to steal a win and earn a regular-season split with the Seawolves, who beat them earlier in the season.
The Seawolves built an early lead and with a strong defensive effort, the Huskies were unable to get back into the game falling to Seawolves 84-31. Hannah Thorsen from the Seawolves led all scorers and completed the double-double with 19 points and 12 rebounds.
Word of Life had two standouts who each added a double-double themselves. Clementine Danehy had 12 points and 11 rebounds while Ariana Phillips finished with 10 points and 11 rebounds.
The Huskies will return home on Wednesday, February 5th to take on the Knights from Vermont State University Randolph.
