SOUTH PORTLAND, Maine (CMCC) -- An ace performance by Kyle Moore hoisted Central Maine Mustangs to a 2-0 win over SMCC on Saturday. Central Maine Mustangs' Moore kept SMCC off the scoreboard for all nine innings he was on the bump. He pitched a shutout, allowing no opposing players to cross the plate on six hits while ringing up one, and throwing only seventy-five pitches.
Kyle Parmley couldn't quite get it done on the rubber for SMCC, taking a loss. He lasted nine innings, walked two, struck out six, and allowed two runs.
The lead stayed with Central Maine Mustangs after the fifth, when it scored two runs on a sacrifice fly by Brandon Varney and an RBI single by Alex Biron.
With the win the Mustangs cap off their fall baseball season with n 8-3-1 record and a 4-game win streak.
