The UMM Clippers dropped their home opener 75-67 to the Saint John Seawolves Friday night. This game was back and forth, with ten lead changes throughout the match. Dave Kalmbach lead the Clippers scoring-wise, putting up 23 points, Darius Clark handled the ball and put up 14 points himself. The Seawolves' top scorer was guard Steve Ryan who scored 18. The Clippers took the lead early in the first half, but the Seawolves were dominant and had an 11 point lead at the end of the first half. Despite coming out strong in the second half the Clippers fell short in the end. The men's team is now 0-1 overall and have not played a conference match.
