CMCC to face SMCC in Men's Soccer Championship

CONCORD, New Hampshire (NHTI) -- The 2019 Yankee Small College Conference Men's Soccer Final Four got underway Saturday from host school, NHTI. 

Central Maine CC takes down NHTI 3-0 in Men's semifinal

Concord, NH – The NHTI Men's Soccer team lost to Central Maine CC in the Yankee Small College Conference (YSCC) Final Four on Saturday by a final of 3-0. Garrett Addison (Leeds, ME) scored twice for the Mustangs while Peter Vigna (Naples, ME) tallied the other goal. In net for NHTI Kolbe Maganzini (Wolfeboro, NH) stopped six shots. For Central Maine CC Austin Wing (Lewiston, ME) stopped nine shots in the shutout win. The Mustangs outshot the Lynx 19-13 in the contest.

Southern Maine CC Men's Soccer Advances to YSCC Championship After Beating Unity College 3-0

Concord, NH – Southern Maine CC advanced to the YSCC Championship by defeating Unity College 3-0. Southern Maine CC will take on Central Maine CC at 11:00 am tomorrow at NHTI. In the game Joel Musese (Auburn, ME) tallied a hat trick in a minute scoring goals at 65:32, 65:51, and 66:35. In net for the SeaWolves Joshua Nagle (Biddeford, ME) stopped five shots in the shutout win. Sam Napper (Westport, NY) for the Rams stopped 32 shots in the loss. Southern Maine CC outshot Unity College 63-9 in the win.

The Central Maine Community College Mustangs will face off against the Seawolves of Southern Maine Community College Sunday at 11 a.m.
