Bill Miller Announced as New Head Men’s Soccer Coach

CONCORD, NH (NHTI) — On Tuesday, NHTI Athletic Director Paul Hogan announced that the next NHTI Men's Soccer head coach would be Bill Miller.

"We are excited to have Coach Miller on board to lead our program into the upcoming season. He brings many years and experience and knowledge."

Miller is no stranger to NHTI as he was the Athletic Director and head coach of men's soccer from 1984-1997. During his tenure NHTI had tremendous success playing in eight national championship tournaments.

Miller has been coaching at Campbell High School in Litchfield, NH where his teams continued to excel while winning two state championships in 2018 and 2019. Miller brings a positive philosophy to his coaching and is looking forward to coaching the Lynx. "The many years I have coached high school and college soccer affords me a chance to come back and coach the game at a high level and permit young men to establish lasting friendships."

Coach Miller will be taking over the NHTI men's soccer program that finished 2019-20 season with an 8-5-1 record and a YSCC Championship semi-final berth. NHTI is hoping to play an independent schedule in April and to have a spring season in early May. The USCAA canceled the national championships for this year in soccer back on December 16, 2020.
